Bodies of two youths, who had gone missing in Kali Gandaki River while swimming, have been found on Saturday.
Bodies of Govinda Pariyar, 32, was found at Dhustung in Palpa and Chandra Bahadur Pariyar, 24, was found at Mandran. Govinda’s body was found on Thursday evening while Chandra Bahadur’s was found on Saturday afternoon.
The bodies were found by a team of divers and rescuers under Armed Police Force Inspector Nawaraj Shahi.
The duo had gone missing while swimming in the river after a ritual on Thursday afternoon. Two others, who were also swept away by the river, were rescued.
Meanwhile, a three-year-old boy died after he drowned in a bucket full of water at Rampur. DSP Binod Ghimire said Sabin Thapa was rushed to hospital after he was found drowned in the bucket but died during course of treatment.
