Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Bishwokarma has been arrested again on Friday.
Khadka, who was released at the direction of Supreme Court, was detained from the premises of Kathmandu District Court this afternoon.
“We arrested Bishwokarma after the Kathmandu District Court released him,” DSP and spokesperson of the Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu Mohan Kumar Thapa said.
Bishwokarma was arrested again for torching and vandalising Ncell tower in Kavre, DSP Thapa said. Kavre police have been investigating into the case filed against him, DSP Thapa added.
Preparations are underway to send him to the District Police Office, Thapa said.
Earlier this afternoon, the apex court had ordered police to release three cadres of the CPN including Bishwokarma.
The Supreme Court had ordered their release after the police could not show a complaint filed against him before his arrest. Police had arrested them on the charge of extortion.
