Six more ordinances tabled in the House
The government on Tuesday tabled half a dozen more ordinances in the Legislature-Parliament for approval.Ekantipur Report
Law Minister Hari Prasad Neupane on behalf of Interim Election Government Chairman Khil Raj Regmi presented Truth and Reconciliation Commission Ordinance which was endorsed by President Ram Baran Yadav on March 14 last year. He also tabled Judicial Council (first amendment) Ordinance -2013 and Mutual Legal Assistance Ordinance -2013.
Similarly, Minister for Health and Population Bidhyadhar Mallik presented Ordinance on Nepal Health Service (fourth amendment) 2013 while Minister for Physical Planning and Transportation Management Chhabi Raj Pant tabled Ordinance related to Railway -2013.
In the second session of the parliament, Minister for General Administration Madhav Prasad Poudel tabled Civil Service (third amendment) Ordinance -2013.
The government had on Monday tabled five ordinances related to Constituent Assembly election in the house. Twelve out of 24 ordinances, including the one on Removal of Constitutional Difficulties, which were endorsed by President Yadav on the recommendation of the Regmi government in the absence of the Parliament for approval while the rest will be presented in the third session called for Wednesday.
