CIAA seeks suspension of VDC staffer for fund embezzlement

Issuing a press statement on Monday, the CIAA asked for Sah's suspension charging him of being involved in irregularities in the distribution of the social welfare funds since four years.
The CIAA is carrying out an investigation on the matter, added the press statement issued by CIAA spokesperson Shreedhar Sapkota.
The anti-graft body has demanded immediate termination of Sah from the post as per CIAA Act, 2048 Article 19 (3), suspecting that the accused would tamper with evidences if he remains in the post.
