House resumes after parties agree over HLPC formation

Following the agreement among the major parties including the major opposition party UCPN (Maoist), Finance Minister Ram Sharan Mahat answered the queries raised on budget transfer in the House session today.
The meeting between ruling parties Nepali Congress and CPN-UML including UCPN (M) and other Madhes-based parties today deiced to form High Level Political Committee as demanded by the opposition party.
UCPN (M) had been stalling the House proceedings demanding the formation of a HLPC at the earliest and ending the rampant transfer of budget from one heading to another.
