CIAA on Friday filed charge-sheet at the Special Court against Prakash Kumar Sribastav for presenting fake educational qualification certificates to get promoted at the NOC.
The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Friday filed charge-sheet at the Special Court against Prakash Kumar Sribastav for presenting fake educational qualification certificates to get promoted at the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC).
According to CIAA spokesman Shreedhar Sapkota, the certificate showing that Sribastav had passed I. Sc. Exam from the Bihar Intermediate Education Board, India, which he presented for promotion purposes, proved to be fake after investigation. Sribastav works as Manager (Eighth Level) in the corporation.
CIAA has demanded maximum penalty against Sribastav who is charged under Clause 16 (1) of the Corruption Control Act, 2059.
