CIAA urges govt for immediate implementation of directives
CIAA has urged the government to implement the directives it earlier issued, in letter and spirit, to make society corruption-free.Ekantipur Report
The commission on Thursday dispatched a letter to Chief Secretary Leela Mani Poudyal and to the Council of Ministers, urging the government for immediate implementation of its directives.
CIAA spokesperson Shreedhar Sapkota said that the commission urged the government for the immediate implementation of the directives issued by the commission at different times, aimed at building a corruption-free society.
There will be negative impact unless the government implements commission's directions; therefore, it should be implemented soon, Sapkota added.
In its letter, the commission has urged the government for promptly implementing its directives calling for taking action against banks, financial bodies and people and bodies involved in insurance activities found guilty of corruption.
