The police found the girl in an injured state with her throat slit at 5 am in Oralo galli of Dallu Residential Area. The girl was pronounced dead at Bir Hospital after being rescued by the police.

DSP Padam Bista of the area police station, citing the CCTV footage kept for the surveillance of the area, said that the victim of Mongolian countenance was seen walking with an unidentified man at the Oralo galli at 5:04 am. However, the view of incident is out of frame, he added.

"The CCTV has been directed towards the compound of the house," said DSP Bista, "That's why the incident could not been seen."

The police further informed that search for the unidentified man who was walking with the victim is underway.
