Metropolitan Police Circle, Bouddha, arrests different people and starts investigation
The Metropolitan Police Circle, Bouddha, has arrested a woman on the charge of cheating people luring them of sending UK and started investigation into the case.The arrested is Laxmi Devi Saha, 48, of Bihar state, India, living at Kumaripati, Lalitpur.
Police Inspector Damodar Dawadi said that she cheated Rs 6.270 million of 40 people on different dates since Baisakh, 2070 BS.
Similarly, Pradeep Tamang, 18, of Rampur Thoksila of Udaypur district, living at Jorpati-7, and Santosh Gurung, 18, of Dhading, living at Jorpati-9, were arrested at a time when they were riding the stolen motorcycles, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Shyam Singh Chaudhary.
Tamang had stolen a motorcycle (Ba 47 Pa 9096) belonging to Om Binod Niraula, which was parked at his home at Kapan-1.
Similarly, Gurung had stolen a motorcycle (Ba 50 Pa 5164) of Nima Sherpa of the same place.
DSP Chaudhary said that Raj Kumar Chaudhary, 35, of Kavrepalanchowk, living at Mitrapark, was arrested while he was selling different goods including laptop, camera and mobile set. He had stolen the goods from the Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6, Tusal.
Likewise, Suresh Rai was also arrested while he was selling the goods, which he had stolen from the same place.
Necessary action has been forwarded against Tenjing Hisi on the charge of stealing a motorcycle (Ba 36 Pa 5384), Apple IPod and two mobile sets from Shantinagar.
Hisi has been sent to Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj, for further action has he had raped a 17-year-old girl, said police.
