District Police Banke on Thursday arrested a fugitive accused of raping his three-year-old daughter from Jamunaha.

The accused was a resident of Dhadabar in Bardiya, police said. A complaint had been lodged at the district police office accusing the arrestee of absconding after raping his daughter on Aug 26.

He has been handed over to Bardiya District Police for further investigation.
