NSU leaders including former central member Ganesh Sapkota and former TU Committee chair Shanker Poudel have been staging a hunger strike at the Nepali Congress Central Office in Sanepa calling for the holding of the postponed general convention and the end to the high handedness in the election of the executive members.
More than 50 per cent of the general convention representatives had arrived in the capital when it was postponed all of a sudden.
The health of the four student leaders is worsening and that of Ganesh Sapkota has become critical, said CTEVT Committee Chair of NSU Dipak Sapkota.
