NSU announces convention date for 7th time

The NSU announced the GC date after four student leaders staged fast-unto-death strike expressing dissatisfaction over postponement of GC dates for six times earlier.
According to NSU leader Lekh Nath Pokharel, the GC will take place from 16-18 November in Kathmandu.
NSU leaders Ganesh Sapkota, Shanker Poudel, Sujan Adhikari and Rabindra Rokaya, who were staging the indefinite hunger strike demanding the announcement of GC dates, called off their hunger strike.
