The data since Fulpati—- the seventh day of Dashain which was observed last Wednesday—-until Sunday shows that one person died in Swayambhu while getting off the bus on Saturday. No other serious road accidents were reported in that period.
Jiwit Tamang, 27, of Bhojpur Manebhanjyang was mowed down by a bus (Ga 1 Kha 5078) at Halchowk after he fell off the moving bus.
Tamang died while undergoing treatment at TU Teaching Hospital in Maharagunj, MTPD said.
