The remaining prison term of two prisoners of Myagdi Jail, who completed their half jail term, has been exempted on the occasion of Dashain.

They are Dil Bahadur Sarki of Jyamurkot and Yambahadur Bhandari of Rakhu Piple-7.

Jailer Khagraj Sharma said that their jail term was exempted and they were released on Sunday showing good behavior and manner in the prison as per the directive of the Department of Prison Management.

Sharma added that out of three prisoners recommended at the Department for the amnesty, the Department had approved the amnesty of two prisoners.

The Magdi Jail has now 89 prisoners including four women. RSS
