It is hard to label the music that Elements produce as their sound encompasses various genres and styles including progressive jazz, indie, hip hop, funk, and soul. Their music also blends colourful riffs, harmonies and melodies with beats of varying tempo.
Along with Elements, Persson is also the director of some other bands and is sideman in a few other projects.
He also works as a freelance trombone player. While he is not directly involved with his previous band, he has been collaborating individually with members of the group.
Elements will be releasing their debut record at the end of October this year.
Persson has stated that they will be playing a lot out of their album at their Jazzmandu session.
