Nepal lose football friendly against Philippines

Nepali national football team has been defeated in a friendly against Philippines played in Doha, the Capital city of Qatar, on Friday night.

Philippines won the match played at the Hamad Stadium in Doha by 3-0 goal margin. Earlier too, Nepal had lost to Philippines by similar goal margin.

No goals were scored in the first half. Philippines drew the first blood in the 48th minute after the start of the second half. Rest of the two goals were scored in the injury time of the second half.  

Several new players were given chance in the friendly against Philippines yesterday. Striker Bimal Gharti Magar could not convert the chances offered as Nepal was limited to ten players after Jagjeet Shrestha was given red card in the 75th minute of the game.
