Speaking at a press meet organised by the Revolutionary Journalists Association in Butwal on Saturday, Secretary Chand informed that his faction would float their plans at the party’s slated extended meeting and then only decide about the future course of action.

He remarked that his faction’s next move would be a political subject not just to the party leadership but to the entire political fraternity. The CPN-Maoist leader warned that a conspiracy was underway to negate the achievements made by the people’s war and impose parliamentary system in a unilateral manner.

Chand further informed that the two-day ‘central interaction’ event organised by the party in Kapilvastu has concluded that foreign intervention was on the rise and that efforts were underway to impose counter revolution.

Secretary Chand said that the Constituent Assembly should be dissolved and be replaced by a political assembly to provide outlet to the current political impasse.
