The Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday extended gratitude to all the people contributing to maintain law and order and thereby ensuring a successful 18th Saarc Summit from the security point of view.
The untiring efforts and dedication of the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and National Investigation Department as well as the civil service played a significant role in concluding the Saarc Summit in a grand and peaceful manner, said Laxmi Prasad Dhakal, spokesperson of the Ministry, in a statement issued today.
The 18th Saarc Summit had concluded here in the Capital yesterday with the endorsement of 36-point Kathmandu Declaration Letter. All the dignitaries and the leaders from the Saarc member countries have left for their respective countries.
