Koirala publicly admitted his weakness in running the government after being sharply criticised for his leadership at the party Central Committee meeting on Tuesday. However, he expressed a firm resolution to draft the constitution under his leadership.
“I am headed in the direction of promulgating the new constitution through consensus,” said Koirala, while speaking at a Silver Jubilee celebration of Nepal Civil Service Employees' Union at Nepal Academy Hall in Kathmandu on Tuesday. “I too have weaknesses, but I have not lost hope. The constitution drafting process will not stop.”
