The umbrella organisation of medical doctors announced their strike in the wake of deteriorating health condition of Dr KC on Tuesday as the government has turned a deaf ear to his demands, NMA President Anjani Kumar Jha said.
NMC would shut down the emergency services too if his demands were not addressed within the next 48 hours, Jha added.
Dr KC is a life-time member of the Association.
