The apex private sector body said that it has been the colleting cash, clothing, food and medicines by setting up a relief camp at Brihkutimandap in Kathmandu. Likewise, another private sector body Confederation of Nepalese Industries said that it has distributed 20 tonnes of food items including noodles, mineral water, blanket and medicines to the quake victims of worst-hit Sindhupalchok district through chief district officer.
Himalayan Bank Limited said that it is not charging any fee on remittance transactions for one month to ensure more remittance inflow in the country to support the victims as well as general public.
