Mild tremors continued to jolt Nepal on Friday after two weeks since the great quake rocked the nation on April 25.Ekantipur Report
According to National Seismological Centre, five tremors above 4 on the Richter scale have been felt from early morning till 3 pm on Friday.
The last earthquake was felt at 3:05 pm today with its epicenter at Rasuwa-Nuwakot bordering area. It measured 4.2 on the Richter scale. The tremor was felt in Kathmandu too.
Earlier, a 4.6 magnitude earthquake struck at 1:30 pm with its epicenter in Sindhupalchok.
A four magnitude quake was felt at 2:19 am on Friday with Sindhupalchok epicenter. Likewise, a tremor of five magnitude earthquake occurred at 6:17 am with its epicenter at Dolakha and Sindhupalchok border.
Similarly, the quake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale jolted at 8:19 this morning with its epicenter Sindhupalchowk, said an earthquake expert Ratnamani Gupta of National Seismological Centre.
The death toll from the devastating earthquake that hit the country some two weeks ago has reached 7,903, while the number of the people sustaining injuries in the quake has been put at 17,803, according to the latest updates made available by the Nepal Police.
