Schools in quake-hit districts to open from May 30: Education Ministry

Earlier after the deadly April 25 quake, the Ministry had announced the shutdown of schools till May 14.
Spokesperson at the Ministry Hari Lamsal said the decision was taken to shut down the schools in the 14 most affected districts while the District Education Offices (DEO) in other districts will decide on the resumption of the closed school depending on the intensity of the damages caused by the earthquakes.
The DEOs will act on the recommendations furnished by the respective District Natural Disaster Rescue Committees in the districts concerned. RSS
