The deceased have been identified as 64-year Sanjha Devi Sardar of Shambhunath Municipality-9 and Lekhman BK, 45, of Neta Batase VDC-9 in Solukhumbu district.
According to family members of Sardar, she died after falling unconscious apparently due to excessive heat at her home. BK died after falling unconscious all of sudden while travelling in a bus when he was heading towards Dharan from Katari, according to the Saptari District Police Office.
Trade and business activities in the district headquarters, Rajbiraj, have been affected due to excessive heat. Movement of people in markets has decreased due to this.
