The members of the taskforce have said there were no differences as such in the taskforce, in course of drafting, regarding the topics on which consensus has been built, and that intensive and wide-ranging discussions have been held on the topics to be incorporated and how this is to be done in the Preamble, Section, Articles and Sub-articles of the constitution and these topics were being finalised.
The taskforce has been taking the formal and informal views and suggestions from the constitutional experts and lawyers as well in the course of giving final shape to the draft of the constitution.
Committee secretary Rabi Aryal said the taskforce would prepare the draft even late tonight so that it could be presented in the committee’s meeting scheduled for Wednesday.
The draft writing is being done incorporating the main spirit of the 16-point agreement reached among the four major parties. Preparations have been made to settle the issues which could not be resolved by the taskforce at the top political leadership level.
