NAC spokesperson and corporate director Ram Hari Sharma informed that the NAC has decided to resume the service after growing monopoly of other international airlines companies. “We re-launched the service to attract passengers and change the perception of general people towards the airline,” said Sharma.
However, the quantity of alcohol consumption on board the flight is yet unknown, said Sharma. “Generally one to two pegs of alcohol consumption is acceptable. We haven’t yet fixed the limit,” he said.
According to Sharma, the free alcohol service will be re-launched in NAC’s Bangkok, Hong Kong and Delhi flights. He further informed that the service hasn’t been resumed to flights leaving for Muslim countries including Qatar and Malaysia.
