Rajendra Bahadur Amatya of Nepali Congress urged the government to convince the agitating parties to come on board for talks and thereby creating an atmosphere that helps calm down political unrest flaring up in the Tarai-Madhesh.
Keshab Prasad Badal of CPN (UML) urged the protestors not to be too rigid regarding their demands as deepening unrest has posed a serious threat to the achievements of past movements.
