Govt holding talks with Dr KC’s supporters

National Planning Commission (NPC) Vice Chairman Govinda Pokharel, on behalf of the government, has been holding a meeting with the aides of Dr KC. He initiated the talks after taking the go-ahead from Health Minister Khag Raj Adhikari and Deputy Prime Minister Bam Dev Gautam, who is leading the CPN-UML in the government.
Jeevan Chhetri, Dean at IoM Rakesh Prasad Shrivastav, and Dr Bhagwan Koirala were representing Dr KC in the dialogue.
Pokharel said the government and the talks team are nearing an agreement. Dr KC’s supporters informed him about the progress in talks.
It has been learnt that Pokharel is waiting Dr KC at the IoM Dean’s office if he is ready for talks. However, the NPC vice chairman refused to speak about the progress in agreement.
The health condition of Dr KC is deteriorating.
