A mother and her three children have been found dead in a jungle of Sylapakha of Ranka VDC-7 in Rolpa district.

Pabitra Rana of around 37 years of age of Ranka-2 on Wednesday morning set out for her maternal home along with her three children including daughter Pyuli Rana and two sons Bhim Bahadur Rana and Ganesh Rana. They all were found dead in the jungle by the locals. The police have been informed that they had apparently committed suicide as bottles containing poisonous substances were discovered from the site, Rolpa’s Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramesh Thapa said.

The police have already left for the incident site that is in a six-hour walking distance from the Pachhawang Police Beat.
