The letter, signed by Nepali Congress President and Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli and UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, appeals RPP-N to be part of the constitution writing for the sake of strengthening national unity, empowering the people and ensuring their socio economic rights through democratic manner.
On Wednesday, RPP-N had walked out from the constitution process, claiming its participation has no meaning as the major parties are making all the decisions ignoring the issues raised by small parties.
The RPP-N has demanded referendum to decide the contentious issues, including federalism and secularism. The party has also registered an amendment proposal in the CA demanding reinstatement of Hindu state and monarchy in the country. (PR)
