Bagmati Clean-up campaign continues

The Bagmati sanitation campaign has reached 122nd series today. The volunteers were found collecting the garbage despite the heavy downpour. A large number of the volunteers along with Chief secretary Som Lal Subedi, former chief secretary Leela Mani Paudyal, high-ranking officials from different government offices, security bodies and other social organizations were found collecting the garbage from the river.
Chief Secretary Subedi and former chief secretary Poudyal urged all to participate in the campaign as it was launched aimed at cleaning the river as it was directly linked with our civilisation.
Similarly, chief at the High Powered Committee for Integrated Development of the Bagmati Civilisation Rajesh Prasad Singh said that the campaign has changed the public mindset towards the river in the recent days.
