The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) on Tuesday expressed concern over the journalists reporting the electoral voting process of the Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), Japan being subjected to manhandling and misbehaviour.
FNJ has said its serious attention was drawn towards the incident in which FNJ Japan Chapter President Tilak Malla and nepalsandesh.com scribe Rabindra Shrestha were manhandled and misbehaved in Japan on September 13.
A statement signed by FNJ General Secretary Ujir Magar has strongly denounced the harsh treatment meted out to the journalists fulfilling their professional duty and urged the concerned authority in Japan to initiate action against the culprits.
