India grants Rs 52.4m aid for different projects

India has committed a financial assistance of Rs 52.4 million for the construction of Bamgati Lower Secondary School in Makwanpur District and for upgradation of a Nagarkot road in Kavre district.
On September 16, Nepal and India signed a Memoranda of Understanding for the construction of Bagmati Lower Secondary School and upgradation of Nala Karuna Marg Dadamukh-Ghimire Goan Nagarkot road as a part of Nepal-India Cooperation Programme of the Indian Government.
The Bagmati Lower Secondary School is allocated a budget of Rs 12.4 million for under privileged students. Similarly the Nagarkot road upgradation is getting the assistance of Rs 40 million.
