Agitating Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha, an alliance of four Madhesi parties, has announced to intensify their protests after the promulgation of the new constitution on September 20.

A meeting of the parties at Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party office at Bijulibazaar in Kathmandu decided to remember September 20, constitution drafting date, as black day.

A statement issued by the morcha has condemned the killings in Tarai and said that they have decided to take the protests to its aim.

The parties have also decided to keep the doors open for talks with the government, the statement reads.
