Bijay Kumar Gachhadar-led Madhesi Janadhhikar Forum-Loktantrik has refused to sit for talks with the government and instead decided to hit the streets.

The party, despite the major parties urge to sign the recently endorsed constitution, said that there was no possibility for its lawmakers to put their signature on the historic document.

Emerging from the central committee meeting of the party at party headquarters in Sanepa today, party General Secretary Ram Janam Chaudhary informed that the party has decided to prepare for protests programmes. He also clarified that they won’t sit for talks with the government despite their second invitation to sit for dialogues. “Government is trying to show the foreign powers that they are serious for talks with the agitating groups. So they invited us for talks,” Chaudhary said.
