President of Sadbhawana Party, Anil Kumar Jha has demanded the government form a trustworthy committee for addressing the demands of the Madhesi and the Tharu people. 

Addressing a news conference held in the Capital on Monday, leader Jha said they would cooperate to the committee or the taskforce the government will form for amending the constitution. 

The demands of the Madhesi people’s hope that their demands would be addressed even at the last hour of the constitution promulgation were dashed, he added. 

“This constitution has failed to resolve the Madhes problems. It is not good to organise illumination in celebration of the new constitution when the Madhes is in agitation,” he said. 

President of the Lok Dal party Kaushal Kumar Singh said democracy could be strengthened only by respecting the minority voices. RSS
