Speaking at a function in the Capital to release a book authored by party’s spokesperson Dinanath Sharma on Wednesday, Dahal said, “Though we have completed a historic task of drafting the new constitution. I have been forced to deal with a very difficult situation. On one hand people's daily lives are badly affected by India's blockade, and on the other hand a close friend, who worked together with me for 30 years, severed his ties with the party. I am feeling very bad at the moment."
Dahal briefly spoke on political issue at request of spokesperson Sharma. But he seemed reluctant to speak at length. Without mentioning name of former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, he only indicated that after Bhattarai’s resignation from the party he has had a difficult time.
If I talk about current political affairs, it would only worsen the situation, Dahal said.
Dhahal also said that he has been attending diplomatic/political meetings from on Wednesday morning onwards to resolve the current crisis in the country.
