Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has asked India to resume the cross-border transportation without any delay. Addressing the Parliament on Friday, he asked India not to create hurdles for Nepal from enjoying its right to transit. Prime Minister Koirala said that the country has come to an uneasy and difficult turn due to the ongoing agitation in Tarai-Madhes. The border entry points are obstructed and closed affecting all imports and exports while Nepali people are facing shortage of commodities, he said. He further said that the ongoing protests and bandas has hit the education sector and industries.
