Ten fuel tankers that were entering Nepal through eastern border point in Kakadvitta have been halted by Indian authorities at Panitanki custom point of India on Tuesday.
Kolkata-based Consul General of Nepal, Chandra Kumar Ghimire, said that he has been lobbying the Indian officials to release the Nepal-bound fuel tankers at the earliest.
A Siliguri Terminal Depot of Indian Oil Corporation in West Bengal has refilled the Nepali oil tankers today. With this, the possibility of fuel tankers arriving Nepal have increased.
According to Mechi Customs Chief Bhim Adhikari, 73 goods carriers entered Nepal through the eastern entry point on Tuesday.
