9 fuel tankers enter Nepal

Nepal Oil Corporation Mechi Chief Kamlesh Aryal informed that six tankers entered at around 10 pm last night after they received fuel at Siliguri Terminal Depot of Indian Oil Corporatin in New Jalpaiguri. Aryal informed that 52 kiloliters of diesel, 32 kiloliters of petrol and 20 kiloliters of aviation fuel entered via these tankers.
Over 35 tankers are waiting for fuel at the depot. IOC Siliguri Chief JP Singh informed that those tankers will be loaded and sent to Nepal. “Twenty tankers have already been loaded. We are planning to load the remaining tankers too and send them to Nepal today itself,” said Singh.
Likewise, three diesel carrying tankers and two gas bullets entered through the Rupaidiya border in Nepalgunj last night. No vehicles have entered this morning though.
Our correspondent at Biratnagar Binod Bhandari informed that four tankers were stopped at Jogbani border despite being cleared by customs of the Indian side on Monday night. The tankers have returned to India after they were denied entry into Nepal. One LPG bullet and nine trucks loaded with raw materials for factories have entered from the point this morning.
