Six tankers carrying petroleum products have entered Nepal through the eastern border point Kakadvitta on Tuesday.
Among the six tankers, three are carrying diesel, two petrol and one aviation fuel. The Mechi Petroleum Dealers Association Chair Laya Bhandari informed that among these tankers, two tankers carrying petrol and diesel have been sent to Panchthar and Taplejung.
He added that as many as 20 tankers have been filled with fuel and 17 more are in the process of filling at Silguri Depot, India today.
These tankers would enter Nepal by tomorrow, he said.
