In a symbolic protest against the current unofficial blockade imposed by India against Nepal, the youths converged outside the embassy, carrying petrol-filled bottles and placard reading: “we don’t need oil, but won’t sell our self-respect.” They were stopped outside the department of mines and geology on the way to Indian embassy.
As the news broke about Indian embassy's request to the Nepal Oil Corporation for providing oil, tweeratis have begun a campaign on social networking site Twitter asking everyone collect oil to donate it to the embassy from early Wednesday.
