Lumbini (rupendehi)
Sanghiya Samajwadi Forum Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav on Friday said the ongoing agitation in the southern belt of the country would end immediately if the government implemented the past agreements reached with the Madhes-centric parties.
Speaking at a press conference here in the district on Friday, Yadav attributed the disruption of peace in Tarai/Madhes for the last two months to government's failure to address the past deals. He urged the government to make result-oriented negotiations.
Yadav further refuted claims of the Indian government's backing the Madhes agitation terming it as 'false' and added that if relations were to deteriorate between Nepal and India it would harm both the countries.
