The council of Ministers’ meeting has decided to provide Rs1.5 million for his medical expense and Rs 2 million as a relief for the damage of his house during the conflict period.
Khadka’s house based in Dang was destroyed during conflict period. He has been receiving medical treatment for Kidneys.
He was jailed for 1.5 years for amassing disproportionate wealth.
In August 2012, the Supreme Court convicted him on charge of owning property disproportionate to income source and handed him an 18-month sentence and Rs 9.5 million fine after he failed to disclose the source of property accumulated while in office.
Khadka held a number of high-ranking posts, including home minister and local development minister, in the 1990s when the Nepali Congress was in power.
