The first meeting of KP Sharma Oli led Cabinet on Monday decided to make the country free of Tuines within two years.
The meeting convened right after the swearing-in of the new ministers decided to replace the existing Tuins will be replaced by suspension bridge in two years. The meeting has allocated Rs 3.5 billion for the purpose. There are around 350 Tuins across the country.
Likewise, the government has formed a committee under Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Miniser Kamal Thapa with Chief Secretary Somlal Subedi as member for holding talks with India in order to ease the supply of fuel and other essentials.
Also, the Cabinet has appointed Law Minister Agni Kharel as government spokesperson.
