The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Banke’s Tripur Municipality, Jit Bahadur KC, on charge of taking Rs 100,000 bribe.

Officer KC was caught red-handed with the bribe money accepted from Engineer Roshan Dulal on Wednesday. 

A CIAA team conducted raid at the municipality office today after Dula lodged a complaint at CIAA’s contact office based in Kohalpur of Banke, saying that he was asked to pay the bribe money for renewing his appointment contract for the next 10 months.
