The UCPN (Maoist) has decided to propose the name of former Deputy Speaker of the House Onsari Gharti for the post of House Speaker. 

A meeting of the UCPN (Maoist) Standing Committee on Thursday decided to put forward Onsari’s name for the House Speaker.

Likewise, the meeting also gave Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the responsibility to decide on the ministerial candidates from the party.
