Government spokesperson and Minister for Law and Justice Agni Kharel has insisted on understanding between the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML to enforce the constitution.

The UML and NC have now the relations of ruling and opposition parties just for formality and they are equally responsible for both merits and demerits of the constitution, he said.

Taking part in a press meet organised by Press Chautari Nepal at Damak, Jhapa on Monday, Minister Kharel stressed on unity between two major political parties to bring the constitution into force and protect it.

Talking about Nepal-India relation, he said this bilateral relation carries a significant value for both neighbours and the incumbent government is committed towards further strengthening this relation.
