They torched the motorcycle (Na 13 Pa 102) belonging to Sagir Ansari at Birgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-17 and the motorcycle was completely damaged in the incident, according to the District Police Office (DPO), Parsa.
Spokesperson at the DPO, Deputy Superintendent of Police Hobendra Bogati said that the agitators set the motorcycle on fire while Ansari was heading towards factory.
Similarly, the agitators have also vandalized a motorcycle (Na 12 Pa 1282) at Sano Pipara today. Search for those involved in the incident was underway, said police.
Superintendent of Police at the Armed Police Force, Bhim Bahadur Thapa, said that four security personnel were injured in a clash that took place between police and agitators at Pipara chowk Saturday night. All the injured are receiving treatment at Birgunj-based Health Care Hospital.
Police opened three rounds of bullet in the air and 10 rounds of teargas cells to bring the agitators under control after agitators started pelting stones at police.
