Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) cadres have vandalised dozens of vehicles that were being escorted to their respective destinations in various parts of Saptari on Monday.

The SLMM supporters pelted stones and vandalised the vehicles at Bhardaha, Rupani, Bair, Barmajhiya among other parts of the districts.

The protesters have been pelting stones at the escorted vehicles plying through the highway daily even though the administration has declared the Highway as riot-hit area.

The agitating Madhesi morcha have stepped up their protest in the tarai region after Dashain causing problems to the passengers returning back after celebrating the festival.
